The community picks the answer that is best for all, not just some, and donkeys fly.

In all honesty, unless you're answering questions in one of the more fact based categories, a best answer is nearly impossible to choose. Especially here in R+S. Religion and spirituality is an emotional category, with great sentiment, and based mainly on opinion and beliefs. Therefore, what one person views as a best answer is rarely what another would choose, as few, if any, people share the exact beliefs.
In this category, best answers are usually given to those who agree with the asker, are friends of the asker, or are the first answer given. In this case, the trolls go through voting and normally it's the first answer they vote for, which is why there's so much place-holding in this category.
Then you have the people with numerous accounts who vote for themselves. You can tell these ones easily...their answers always have the same number of votes, and the answer is almost always ridiculous...normally a yes or no. That's not an answer.
It's truly a rare moment when the answer which seems "best" is chosen in R+S.

I agree with you. Zoey P got it SO right. People agree with questions or answers that they agree with, & that's the bottom line. If someone thought pigs were purple, & someone answered, yes, they are, if the asker chose best answer, that's the one they'd choose, & the rest of us would sit back & laugh. SOMETIMES the "community" has a broader perspective, but not always.
Edit: I thought this was a "general" question. Sadly, "Happy Traveler" found it an opportunity to demean homosexuals & Atheists, who are no more guilty of mud slinging than the other side of the aisle.

a million people can be wrong, after all there have been at least a million murderers throughout history.
The right answer most closely resembling what is good and truthful is the best answer, but the community does not always see this easily.

No, the community doesn't always pick the best answer. It's chancey! It just depends on who votes when.
I asked several question, but most of the best answers chosen were not what I considered the best.

I agree. The best answer doesn't make it a true answer either. Many don't ask for or want the truth which of course everyone wants to think they know what's true. The atheists and homosexual community seem to do the best to sabotage and silence truth which convicts their conscience as shown from their insulting profane bigoted answers and baiting questions to/from the Christian community. Still, everyone has a chance to voice the truth. Some have slipped by me for choosing the best before going into voting. It's still a chance for seeing all the pros and cons to weigh it out for oneself to disagree with any answers whether chosen as best or not.

An asker can pick for him/herself.
sometimes, there's only one vote for the winning best answer from the 'community' lolz.

well if you chose them yourself its your opinion but if you have people vote that's there opinion and that's what they think is the best answer so no best answers are not always true but what the answerer believes

Most voters just vote randomly for the points they get.
