Listen to your friends...having more input is much better...and if you choose to listen to yourself...you will brobably find that they were right later...better to listen to them now!!!!

If you changed your mind about how you think of him, then maybe some of your friends have too but are afraid to show it for the same reasons you are. Try to feel them out by saying something a little positive about him and seeing if any of them agree with you.
Even if none of them have changed the way they think of him, that shouldn't matter overall, it just makes it a little uncomfortable to be around them until they change their minds, if they do. And if you like him then there must be something to like about him, and they should value your opinion enough to take a second look themselves.

Well if you feel that you are starting to like this guy then I would approach him. Dont wonder about what your friends will think, let them laugh, let them do whatever. If you like someone, go for it. Just start talking to the guy, maybe when your friends arent around......Take the slow approach. Stop teasing the guy first of all.. When your friends arent around, talk to him......Continue to do this for a couple days, then let your friends see you talk to him after these couple days......Once they notice that you arent talking about the guy anymore, they may stop it too, who knows...but dont let your friends be the reason why you not talking to the guy

Find out some stuff first, there's things you dont know:
He might not like juniors
He might not take you seriously because you bully him (He might think anything you say is a trick)
What you're feeling might be pity
Its okay tho, you can try talk to him when your friends arent around

R u sure..wat u feel for him is liking but not pity...coz u urself have admitted that he is sort of a loser.. but if u r sure of ur feelings than u shud make sure ur friends realize it n start respecting it. if they r ur friends than they wud stick with u n start respecting ur relationship.

Are you afraid of what your friends might think if they find out your feelings for him? If they really are your friends, then they will support you.

Nothing has happened yet. But if it does, stand up to your friends about it. Or else they'll bury you about it.

You have a choice: Stand up for yourself or stay down by yourself... you choose.... I guess it really depends on how strong you really are.... and how good you think your friends really are to you...

okay. having gone thru high school, i can give you this.
after highschool, nobody is going to remember anything. none of it is important. nobody is going to be sitting around with their (eventual) families and say "OH MY GOD ONE TIME MY FRIEND LIKED WITH THIS GUY WE ALL HATED..." who cares what everybody thinks? if you like him, you like him -- it's not THEIR relationship! if you base your life around what other people are going to think, or say, then you're never going to be happy.
