No sweetie, just natural fat...of course someone could have added butter unnecessarily...if this is an important health issue, you need to check the ingredients on the bag...sorry.
Merry Christmas.
Hey Caterro, I see some of your other responses are saying yes, due to what is called cocoa butter--NOT the same as butter.

There is usually some kind of oil or butter, usually the cocoa butter from the cocoa beans used. Depending on the type or brand of chocolate, other oils and butter could be added or substituted.
Edit: If you're worried about butter (as in cow's milk butter), then the pretzels themselves might contain some butter instead of oil.
Sorry not to be of more help. I was a baker for ten years and know that there are different ways of making chocolate, so you can't be certain if some specific ingredients have been used or not.

There ar 2 types of chocolate: pure and compound
Pure chocolate has cocoa butter which is naturally present in the cocoa beans from which chocolate is made
Compound chocolate has vegetable fat, the cocoa butter is removed during production-this chocolate is of inferior quality
but bothe the choclates do not have butter
When chocolate is used as an ingredient in other food products , like pretzels here for instance, it depends on the manufacturer and the recipe he uses for making the covering. it might be butter or hydrogenated vegetable fat that he had used

There is no dairy butter in chocolate. You may be confusing "butter" with cocoa butter. Cocoa butter, also called Theobroma oil, is the edible natural fat of the cacao bean, extracted during the process of making chocolate and cocoa powder. Cocoa butter has only a mild chocolate flavor and aroma. It is the only cacao component used in the confection called white chocolate.
Cocoa butter is one of the ingredients used to make real chocolate. It has a melting point of around 34 to 38 degrees Celsius (93 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit), rendering chocolate a solid at room temperature that readily melts once inside the mouth.

No. That is if you are asking if there is 'butter' made from cows milk in chocolate per se. But, let me emphasize that is true about just plain chocolate. Since you are making something at home why not check the ingredient labels?

Not butter made from cow's milk. Cocoa butter fat is in chocolate - how much depends on the type of chocolate. Dark chocolate has less than milk chocolate. Of course, milk chocolate implies that milk is added, I'm not sure how that works, but it wouldn't be butter. Cocoa butter fat comes from the oil found in the cocoa bean itself.

You're going to have to ask the person who made them.
There's absolutely no way anyone on this forum can tell you for sure. I've used butter to "thin" chocolate just a bit for dipping purposes.

What is chocolate?
Butter comes from cows.
cocoa comes from trees.
Sometimes people mix the two for prepared chocolate dishes.
