Yes, this may be a sight issue or something more serious. My Min Pin started running into things and we found that it wasn't sight, but diabetes causing blindness. My best advice it to take your pet to a Vet and let them help. The sooner you get them treated the better off you and your furry friend will be.

It doesn't mean that your dog is dumb by running into trees if anything it is an indication that your baby has some sort of vision problem. If he will let you look at his eyes and you see that a lens or both lenses are cloudy that means he has cataracts. I have a 13 yr.old rescue miniature poodle and he is blind in his right eye and it is shrunken from cataracts and the lens on his left eye had to be removed. I put 1 eye drop and 5 min. later a tiny dob of ointment in his left eye 2 x a day. I suggest that you take you baby to the vet as soon as possible. You may need to go to an animal ophthalmologist.

sounds like vision problems. either the dog is nearsighted, or maybe there is some eye disorder going on. the best thing is to take him to the vet to get checked out. if it is an eye disorder, you don't want that to go unchecked.

He may be nearsighted. I wouldn't worry about it too much, but if it gets serious I would talk to your vet. I have heard that dogs can wear contacts. Maybe that would help your dog.
happy holidays!

Yes, this sounds like eye problems, you might want to bring him to the vet. Also, does it have long fur? If yes, look if it's not covering the eyes and blinding him.
EDIT:
Might want to look if there are any hair directly in contact with the eyes that would make him close his eyes.
