1) you can just rip it off and leave part of it there( not recommended)
2) you can warm the flagpole directly around your tongue with warm NOT HOT water
3)you can wait for summer
4) depending how cold it is you can slowly pour alcohol around and over your tongue to try to thaw it. (salt works too!)
5) is based on number 2 but is really gross! Here goes; if there are friends around you can get them to piss on the pole and your tongue and this will have the same effect as warm water, but you've really got to be desperate.

I saw this on Rescue 911 years ago - the fire department came to help this kid who had managed to get his tongue stuck to the inside of the freezer. They just kept a constant stream of warm water going over his tongue until they could finally pull it off.

the 2 best ways are:
(1) Pour some hot water if you have some with you
(2) open your mouth and blow some hot air on it
