I really want a boyfriend. Now I know what you're going to say, grow up! you'll get one when it's time! It's not about you! BUt I need help getting one. I know guys like me but not the way I'd like them too. Some boys at my school make comments about my butt and ya know... but how can I find a guy who likes me for who I am and not my body? After that is done, how can I get him to be my boyfriend?

Steps
If you do not already know him, then introduce yourself. Let him know you are there! If he is interested in you enough to want to get to know you better himself, he will add in some conversation eventually.
Show interest in his life. What's his favorite sport? TV show? Song? Movie? Find out and you will have something to talk about.
Make it easy for him to be friendly and talkative with you, but not overpowering.
Invite him to a party or event that you think both of you would enjoy together.
Be friendly with him alone until he makes it clear that he really likes you, and wants to be around you.
Just be yourself and let things unwind themselves.
At the end of the date, see if you really liked it or if you want to go on another or not.
Tell him that you had a nice time (e.g. "I had lots of fun. We should do this more again!").

Well try by talking to them wearing nice clothes, and see if you can go where some of the guys go liek movies, social fuctions, school functions or at school and don't be shy when you see a guy you like. SO up to him and introduce yoursledf to him and take it from there. You might not find a bf soon but will have all kinsd of friends.

The key word here is school. Finish your education and get a career type job. Once you become financially independant, finding a boyfriend won't be a problem. True, it helps to feel desired......we all want that. That left-out invisible feeling is tough on the self esteem. Everyone feels like they walk alone at some point in their life. I 've found that the minute I stop "chasing", I get caught.

I think it is something that just happens and if you try and plan it your in for some serious disappointment, however I do have a better answer then this, you can improve your chances by attending group activities and developing hobbies and if you like a guy you happen to meet take the reins, ask him out, it has been rare but I have had girls ask me out.

all i can tell you is to just be yourself. and find someone who'll see you for you* and the only way for him to do that is for him to see you being you and nobody else. or find somebody you feel chemistry with and just ask him out to a movie or something. dont be shy, cause you know if its what you want then you'll find a way to get it.

just listen to the guys when they talk. and see which one is nice to you. and one that always helps you when you need help.
or when ur talking to ur friends (guy friends) just say and sigh..... "huuuuhhhh... i want a boyfriend........" hopefully if the guys that you like and if he likes you, he'll ask you. if not then go ask him.
