A Christian is a person who trusts God. They believe that Jesus made the relationship possible.
Over all the things that may occur in life, a Christian will turn to God whether it is sickness, bankruptcy, war, death in the family, and Christian will trust God with everything that he or she can muster.
The promises of God are in the Bible. It is the chief text used by Christians. A Christian will learn about God by reading and learning from that book.
The testimonies of Christians include the relationship that they have with God through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit leads the Christian who is responding to the trust that they have for God, and they go further in their understanding of what God wants from them.
And that is what I am doing with you now. I am writing because God gives me the words to tell you what it is like to be a Christian. He gives us the understanding. He gives us hope. And He gives us life.
That is what a Christian is. A person that is just like anyone else, except that they have been touched by eternity.

The Latinized Greek term Khri·sti·a·nos′, is found only three times in the Christian Greek Scriptures, it designates followers of Christ Jesus, the exponents of Christianity.—Ac 11:26; 26:28; 1Pe 4:16. Today too, Christians are to be followers of Christ Jesus in all aspects of their lives. Just as Jesus was the living example of his father, Christians are to be living examples of the Christ.

A Christian is a person who follows the teachings of Christ, just the way He set them down. Most people call themselves Christians, but they either don't follow Christ to the letter, or are just fooling themselves. If you have any other questions, you can send me an I.M. so we can talk at length.

A Christian is one who has believed the word of God, that we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. While we were yet sinners Christ died for us. In the beginning was the Word, with God and was God. All things were made though Him. The Word became flesh (in the person of Jesus) and lived among us. He was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life (though tempted as we have been), and died bearing all of our sins upon Him, Raised again in 3 days, and is now at the right hand of God the Father making intercession for us. God gives us a choose, He sets before us life and death, and wants us to choose life. So, one can choose sin - which leads to death and eternal seperation from God (he has prepared a place of torment for Satan and those who choose his way can join him there), or choose Jesus, the Way the Truth and the Life, and no man can come to the Father but by HIm. And then acts on this by repenting of their sins, accepting Christ's atoning death for their sin, and accepting Him as their Lord and Savior.

"By this all will know that you are my disciples,” said Jesus, “if you have love among yourselves.” (John 13:35) Love permeated the attitudes and dealings of early Christians. So true was this that among the pagans primitive Christians were particularly known for their brotherly love. In his Apology, Tertullian cites the words of such worldlings: “‘Look,’ they say, ‘how they love one another . . . and how they are ready to die for each other.’” This same brotherly love is evident among true followers of Christ today; it serves to identify them.
A Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ , doing his commandments and examples for the Glory of God, his Father.
-Jesus said when he was tempted by Satan; “Go away, Satan! For it is written, ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’ -Matt 4:10
He did not say worship 'me'. True Christians worship Jehovah and gives honor to Jesus.
-Jesus said “Keep on, then, seeking first the kingdom and his righteousness..." -Matt 6:33. True Christians look forward and believe in the kingdom of God as the only solution to man's problems.
-Jesus commanded "Go therefore and make disciples.”—MATTHEW 28:18. True Christians proclaim the good news about God's kingdom as Jesus did...only Jesus showed exactly what the kingdom of God will be doing, healing the sick, feeding the hungry, removing disabilities, even bringing the dead back to life. True Christians can only testify but not perform.
list goes on...

A dictionary defines a Christian as "one who professes belief in Jesus as Christ or following the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus," and "one who lives according to the teachings of Jesus."
Thus two characteristics identify Christians: First, they profess belief in the Savior, and second, they act in harmony with the Savior's teachings.
In our belief and our action, we demonstrate that "Jesus Christ Himself (is) the chief corner stone" of our faith.

The term, Christian, was a derisive name given by the Romans which means: little Christ. Scriptures refer to what we know as Christians today as 'believers', 'disciples', or 'followers' of Jesus Christ. Christianity in the scriptures was known as "the Way" and the symbol of this belief was of a fish. "The Way" refers to what Jesus said to His disciples, "I am the way, the truth, and the life - no one comes to the father except through me." I.E. Jesus is declaring Himself as the one true path of righteousness and salvation. It is a huge proclamation, and those who believe it and follow Jesus...are 'christians'.
