I would most assuredly like to meet with this wonderful human being and simply share one Life to another.

I'd ask His Holiness how can I be of help.

Anything else would simply be irrelevent.

I'd love to listen to his infectious laughter.

A seriously Noble Human Being.

Peace to all in the season of joy....from a Buddhist

NO! No president has officially met with the Dalai Lama since he represents himslef as a government leader - which is not recognized by any other country. Additionally, The Dalai Lama and his "government" is nothing more than a feudal theocracy where only the "saints" - those judged by other saints to be reincarnations of dead saints - can hold land. Where all surplus is handed to the "saints," and anybody who renounces the specific dogmatic Buddhism of Tibet is disenfranchised. The Dalai Lama is a nice old man, but what he represents is no better than the Chinese government and risking an international incident over a feudal theocracy is just a dumb move.

yes. I seen some barbara walters interview with him and she was a complete schmuck. I don't know what in the world I would say. I would want to be original and ask him something different or nothing at all, just make small talk. Or ask him for a good joke.
good question.

Actually yes. I hear he is a pretty interesting guy.

I would have to do a little reading to answer that second part. I really have such a limited knowledge about what his position even is, that I would need more info to not sound like an idiot.

Most definetly. I would ask him how to maintain such a wonderful disposition no matter what happens as he does.
I saw him at the Michigan Stadium once where he spoke to a large crowd. He was able to reach out and relate to us all wonderfully.

Indeed I would like to meet him.

I'd prefer to not ask anything, though, just sit in the corner and listen.

More so then any other religious leader. I would not say anything or ask anything, it would be enough just to be near him.
