Ingredients:
3 tablespoons kaolin (China clay)
2 tablespoon distilled water
1 tablespoon rose hydrosol
1/2 teaspoon vegetable glycerin
3 drops lavender essential oil
2 drops geranium essential oil
Combine the waters and add vegetable glycerin. Stir until well mixed and all glycerin is completely dissolved.
Add clay and stir. (I like to use an electric mixer because it often gives a smoother texture. A mixer is especially helpful if you are making this in a large quantity.)
Once a smooth, creamy paste is formed, add the essential oils and stir with a pop sickle stick to incorporate. If mixture is too dry, add a bit more hydrosol or water. If mixture is too wet and not "paste-y" enough, add a bit more clay.
To use, smooth over clean face and neck skin using a spatula or a soft paint brush (feels so good!). Rest for about 10 minutes as the mask dries and draws impurities from the skin''s surface. Rinse well with warm water. My favorite way to rinse is to saturate a soft cloth with warm water and place it over my face the loosen the mask. Then wipe gently, re-saturating the cloth as needed until all mask has been gently wiped away from the skin. Follow with toner and moisturizer.
This mixture can be used 1-2 times weekly as needed and can be stored in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks between uses in an airtight container.

Honey Mask Recipe
The best facial mask is honey. Place a cloth in warm water and apply to your face to open the pores. Smear on honey, and leave on for 15 to 30 minutes. Rinse off with warm water, then use cold water to close the pores. Use once a week.
That's the simplest one I know of. I've heard great things about the almond, honey and milk one someone else put up, too.

My major suggestion is an Oatmeal Mask! You'll need one packet of plain oatmeal, ½cup hot water, ½cup lemon juice, one squirt of honey, and mix well. After mixing, it will be very pasty-like and then you will apply to the face as a mask. If you leave it on for about 20-30 minutes, you will notice that your skin is softer and it also helps to diminish acne scars, leaving your skin feeling so much healthier then before.

1 cup ground almonds

1 tbsp milk (whole milk for dry skin, skim milk for oily skin)
Mix the whole thing up, splash some warm water over your face, put on the mixture, leave for 1 - 2 mins, then wash off. Ta-da!

All fruits are fresh vegetables. A "vegetable" is a plant, any part of which can be used for food.
