Well then, all you will have is religion. Once Christianity is in your heart, you have Christ and He has you. Without recognition of the way, the truth, the life, the resurrection, the sacrificial Lamb and the High Priest-hood of Jesus, you don't have God and one's faith (religion) is in vain. Faith, Hope and Charity must accompany a real born-again experience in Christ, the Rock of my salvation. You will not be blown about by every wind of doctrine (religion) if you build on the doctrines of Christ and the sound doctrines taught by Him and His disciples in the Holy Word of God.

First, examine your real beliefs. Take some paper and write What I Believe at the top of one, What I Don't Believe at the top of another. Start there. Be honest. Then educate yourself about all religions and non-religions, spend time exploring them all. Then find what makes you happy, what belief system or world view makes sense to you, something of which you could be proud. If your decision is well-informed and sits well with you, it's the right one for you. It isn't as easy as it sounds, but it is possible.

Do you notice an interesting thing. Everyone says convert to my religion, but Muslims say that study all, compare them and then decide (of course, through unbiased sites). This speaks the confidence of Muslims in their religion and universality and truthfulness of Islamic teachings.

I am Catholic and I had married Baptist...At first I was doing everything to convert him on "my" side...and vice verse..We realized after awhile that there is no sides. We both believe that Jesus is our savior. He died for us..our sins. And all you have to do is put your trust in him and repent .Follow him, read the Bible and pray. He will show you the way.He knew your name before you were born..he knew that moment when he was beaten and crucified on cross all your sins.He have a plan for you....

What do you want us to do about it?

And just answer some questions and fix the point situation. It also helps if you actually pick a best answer. You get the majority back right there.

I am personally a follower of Islam.
I did have these kinds of thoughts, but when I thought about it well, I realised that I could never turn away from Allah. Its' something I cannot explain.
But, it's for you to decide.
God has given you intelligence for this, unlike other animals.

I hope you WILL read this answer, even though it's long; do read it carefully for maybe it'll help you more than you can imagine....

Choosing the right religion for yourself is for you to decide (and for others to provide you with accurate, sensible information) once you research every religion to the best of your ability. Some points to look for in a religion are mentioned below:

-- Common sense, logical beliefs (if you don't believe in God, first realize that God really does exist... it's proven in the Quran)
-- Women's rights, men's rights, children's rights, elderly's rights (especially parents, and then OLD parents!!!), neighbors' rights, guests' rights, animals' rights,... and so on.

-- Science is a reality, and all humans know that... they should, at least. See which religion seems to accept science and discuss science ACCURATELY in its Holy Book and other authentic sources of that specific religion... So far, I've seen that the Quran is filled with accurate scientific discoveries; discoveries that were made RECENTLY and are still being made, but they are ALL told to us in the Quran, which was sent OVER 1400 yrs ago.... who do you think is the author of the Quran then if no man knew about those scientific discoveries back then? Examples include human embryonic developments in the womb, which science recently started understanding.... definitely not in 750 A.D.! How mountains work and how they're rooted deep, deep down in the earth; science found this out waaaaaaayyy after the Quran was revealed as well. THE SPEED OF LIGHT!!!!!!!!! My FAVORITE one!! Go to this website to understand what I mean: http://www.speed-light.info/angels_speed_of_light.htm
Then there's the theory of evolution, the Big Bang Theory, and how living things are made of WATER.... Modern scientists say that human life evolved from ocean life.... Think about it sometimes.

-- Make sure your PERSONAL beliefs coincide with the religion you'r searching for. Imagine as though you have NO religious beliefs, and then see what the religion you want says abt what you believe PERSONALLY...
-- Look for life after death in the religion. What does the religion say about graves, death, the Judgement Day?
-- How does the concept of good and bad deeds work in the religion you're searching for? How merciful is God to you when you do good deeds and avoid bad ones? Does God multiply your good deeds but NOT your bad deeds? I think that should be the case (it is in Islam).
-- Consider, also, what the religion teaches about worship. How many gods can you worship in that religion? Who's the creator? Who deserves to be worshipped? How many Gods reside inside ONE Supreme being? It should be the case that there should be ONE God ONLY, and He should not be sharing His God-ness with ANYONE.... Plus, see if the religion teaches that you have to pray 24'7, constantly, or even most of your time.... What does the religion say about the rest of the people around you? Should you pray the whole time and not be aware of what goes on around you? It should not be the case so since you are a citizen of the world and you have certain obligations to fulfill as the world's resident.
-- What's FAITH according to that religion?
-- What does that religion say about peace, justice, equality, and unity? (Remember: Your aim is to research the religion from ACCURATE sources!!!!! DO NOT go to a non-Jewish source if you wanna know about Judaism; do NOT go to a non-Muslim source if you wanna know about Islam; do NOT go to a non-Christian source if you wanna find out about Christianity; same goes for alll other religions of the world!)
-- What does the religion say about eating foods and drinks? What kinds of food and drinks can you eat/drink, and how does that food/drink help your body? How does NOT eating a certain type of food (animal, for example) or not drinking a certain type of drink (beer, wine, etc) prevent certain problems from happening in your body? For instance, Islam forbids the eating of pork....There are TONS of scientific and logical reasons why; Islam also forbids Muslims to drink any sorts of alcohold, and there are MANY logical/scientif reasons. Find out from a MUSLIM source what those reasons are (I am going to cite the sources/websites below, so do visit for your own benefit).
-- What does the religion you're considering say about marriage? How must your wife/husband be treated? What are your rights in marriage in the first place?
-- What does the religion say about divorce? Can you divorce at all? (You should be able to divorce., I believe... But remember, first consider your PERSONAL beliefs and then compare them with the religion you're looking at.) If you're a man, how must you divorce your wife? Can you divorce her rightfully while she's pregnant? What are your wife's rights once she's divorced? If you're a woman, what all are your rights concerning divorce? (In Islam, the female is allowed to ask for ANYTHING from her husband in her marriage contract; she's also allowed to mention that if he wishes to marry another woman while married to her, he must first divorce her and then do whatever he wants. Just a thought to consider.)

Well, I think those are just some of the VERY important points to consider in a religion, and the religion should touch EVERY part of life, every single point concerning humans, even if it concerns animals and plants and rain and clouds and so on. Visit the following sources for more info.

I wish you all the luck and guidance while in the process of choosing the right religion for yourself. May you be blessed and guided to the Right Path. Aameen.

If you don't believ in god, become a Buhdist or an Athiest. If you believe in Abraham as the father of your religion, then you should probably go with Judaism, Christianity, or Islam. It depends on what you think you should do.
