Do not give your dog Tylenol. It has the possibility of causing serious liver damage in dogs.
For Aspirin, between 5 mg and 10 mg per pound of the dog's weight every 12 hours is recommended. To be safe when starting, a dosage of aspirin of about 5 mg/lb seems to work well for most dogs.

You can give your dog baby aspirin. Make sure you make the dose appropriate for the dog's weight. You will most likely have to shove the pill down your dog's throat and hold the muzzle closed until he swallows. Then make sure he has fresh water to drink.

Take him to the vet, you don't know that nothing is broken, sprained, etc. and the poor dog cannot talk for himself Take him to the vet, if the bills are expensive, take your ex step dad to small claims court and have him foot the bill since he's the one who injured the dog in the first place

I would just leave him alone. Aspirin would be o.k. though. Out of ignorance, I killed my daughter's little dog by giving him ibuprophen. It shut his kidneys down. Make sure you don't give it Tylenol or ibuprophen.

Our pets can consume aspirins but not at the full dose which we would consume. It is best to give half the aspirin.

i wouldn't give aspirin, but try junior or children's tylenol or motrin, they have weight listings on the label. you could also try heat, like a heating pad or hot water bottle. just supervise when you do so the solution doesn't become a playtoy!!
