i am in a state where i know no one, no family(they are 3000 miles away) and just started new job so no money for nothing.

Be patient, get involved in the community and maybe this christams you will be alone but next christmas you won't. my wife is a military spouse and she deals with the same thing all the time. She is a real trooper in that she gets out and gets involved while I am away as I am now

hey try this to make the most of the hoaidays by your self is go and vist your freinds and family and if you can not then talk to your co workers and see if they want to do anything or see if any one you know is having a party that is all i can think of right now sorry but that is it so try that if you want to ok and have a happy new year and a merry chrismas to all bye bye.

Go for a walk, get to know your neighbourhood and environs. There will probably be things to look at and do along the way. Watch your favourite tv programmes, read a book, rest, relax. You don't have to share or compromise with anyone - enjoy it!

sorry to hear that but Ur not alone u got us on ( yahoo answers ) u would be surprised alto of people r alone on the holidays , for new year resolution , try to make good friends so u wont be alone the next holidays
