I am extremely proud of him. He is truly passionate about martial arts and has more than enough potential to become a professional fighter. He is well on the way. But I wonder how drastically our life will change. I am excited about all that will come with the pro status, a large income, a moderate amount of fame, and the chance for him to do what he loves. But our life has changed so much in the last 4 years already. We spent 4 years in Germany because he was in the Army, he has been to war, we have been through the loss of a loved one, moving from country to country, city to city and finally he is out of the Army, we bought a house and life is normal again. Now, in an instant that could all change. He will become a pro fighter and I am worried about losing "normal". Is this something I should worry about or just take life as it comes?

I do support him. It was never a question of support. More like I wanted to know other people's thoughts on the subject. About the military, that is done. It was a great start to our life, it opened many doors. And we are grateful for it. But he does not want to re-join. As for the pro status, the right people are in place to help him along. It is no question that he will make it big. He knows too many people in the industry. Thanks for the answers.
