I am devoutly religious, yet my answers are No and definitely NO.
I believe that my deities exist, but if I found out that they didn't, I would still be grateful for how my belief in them has made my life so much better. Waging wars over religious views has never made much sense to me. I prefer to peacefully live and let live.

Of course. He gave you the thought to know deep in your heart it matters and that you need Jesus to fill the deepest longings of your heart. That's how you are made to feel incomplete without Jesus in your life. (It's God with a capital for all English speaking persons of intelligence and proper manners who call themselves ladies or gentlemen. You would not disrespect even your pets by spelling their names with a lower case letter. Does that mean all atheist's names, especially on their tomb stones should not be capitalized because they didn't believe that beleiving in God with a capital "G" mattered?)
There's one appointment that is guaranteed to all men. "27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." Hebrews 9 Holy Bible KJV
I would think you would be making arrangements now to have Jesus go your bail and be your lawyer and propitiation for sins. He paid the price with His blood on Calvary. There's no other way to enter into Heaven. Remember playing hide and go seek as children? Well, ready or not, He's coming again like a thief in the night when no man knows the day or the hour of His appearing. Understand why it matters now? If you could hear the screams of those in hell right now, I'm sure you would understand why it matters and the spiritual warfare is worth waging.

Yes it does matter. If God exist then man's first obligation is to Him. If he does not exist, then man's obligation is to himself. So it would make a big difference in how a person would live their life. Also where they can turn in times of trouble. It is a question that fully controls the say a person would live their life.

Why not give God a try? People believe in God by faith. It has to be something that draws you here. Pray, ask God into your heart, and if you don't feel like it will work for you then go back to whatever you were doing before. But let me just say that you can always have someone with you through thick and thin, in every situation. God will always be with you. People who accept Jesus into their hearts don't have a carefree life, but a guide to help them through everything. God will never leave you, not problem free. Join us in our quest to reach souls for Christ. Think about it.

Does it matter if Got exists? Not necessarily. If the belief in God results in people living better lives and making the world a better place this would benefit humanity even if God does not exist.

We are expected to exercise our God given free will in faith in the Lord Jesus Christ if we are to know with certainty, the answer to a question such as yours. Alternatively you can take God's word for it that a) He does exist and b) a belief in Jesus really does matter, ...... rather alot.
As for war, our fight is not against flesh and blood.

Well yes it does because allot of people who have this theory are the same as the ones in the days of Christopher Columbus! they believed that the earth was flat and tried to breed with animals! there is proof!! The bible says that its not in vain what christ did for us! by the way christopher was a christ filled man! in the bible it does speak of the earth is round, do you get the pic?

Yes to the first question.
No, to the second. God WILL fight his own battle when he designates the time is right.
