How can someone wth aspergers have a close walk with God and be used by Him if he cant help keeping to himself

God knew what He was doing when you were born!Don't worry about it.Just worship Him in truth & love.
You do not know how many ppl that you are a blessing to.Or how many you have inspired to be a blessing to someone else.

I have a daughter with Aspergers, and my wife and I took her to a church meeting every week for years - she often used to fall asleep on my lap when she was little. As she got older she simply had less and less concept of God or religion, which is quite common. She is now 22, holds down a job as a cleaner in a nursing home, no longer comes to church with us, and will (I think) always have to live with us because she cannot live independently. It is very hard to accept, but children with Aspergers/autism often cannot have an idea or belief in religion, not because they are atheist, but because such a 'concept' is just beyond them, as many other things are... Sorry, this is not very heartening, but my wife and I have run a support group for years, and this has been our experience. HOWEVER, God does move in mysterious ways, and we pray every day that something will move her... Never lose hope.

Im Autistic myself and a Christian as well, sure I have had ups and downs over the years and satan definetly does play all sorts of games on me often.

But I thank God I am alive, I believe that if it weren't for my Faith, I would have killed myself long ago.

I use to wanna kill myself but I never had the guts to try it and nowadays I realize it was because God was watching over me even when I wasn't saved.

God knows you want to be with him.He understands.just worship him at home,or go to a bible store and buy books you could read about him.And,you need to understand God will decide if He wants to use you,you could tell him you want to be used by him.
