i've actually asked my guy friends this Q numerous times, and most of them say that when a girls says she likes them (and he likes her back) they think its bold of her to take initiative and they'd actually PREFER if the girl asked out the guy (b/c admit it guys... ur scared to make the first move too)

BUT if the guy doesn't like the girl back then they'd rather not know b/c it just creates an awkwardness every time they talk to each other.

(so before u tell a guy u like him, make sure that u know he likes u back)

Every guy is different. Some guys like the 'hard to get' girl. Some guys like a girl who's honest about how she feels. In the beginning though, it's better to not be too eager. Hold back a little and let the guy chase you. At least, until you can catch him.

Personally, it touches my heart and builds my confidence.

I think traditionally women wait till the guy makes the first move. In today's society it's perfectly natural for the girl to step up. The biggest problem with this is, knowing when it fuels his ego more than his heart. Feel free to express yourself, but keep him in check. A boy with an ego bigger than his heart is the dictionary definition of a jerk.

Yes, because it is very clear when you are actually told 'I like you!'. If she is just trying to drop hints through flirting, it is not always clear. Some girls are just plain bad at flirting and some guys are bad at reading signals.

One special person had no idea how I felt. When it came pouring out, the flattery began!

Sweetheart, hell no. We do not want to get too mushy and lose our masculinity. We will know that you love us when you keep putting out for us. You stop, then there are problems.

Depends on the situation, mainly because it has never happened to me.
