You should probably talk to your doc just in case - it's an anti-anxiety drug, I believe, and your symptoms may return if you stop taking it before you're ready.

As the girl before said, you may also get physical withdrawal symptoms.

If you want to stop taking it, then go ahead, but please do speak to your doctor to check you shouldn't be on anything else, and to see if you should maybe gradually cut down to a stop instead :)

And don't worry what anyone says about your spelling, no-one is perfect at everything!

i think of it relies upon on the placement... For starters, even nonetheless, there at the instant are not any constitutional amendments holding men from something or giving men the main remarkable to something especially. Now this could advise that men are the dominant ingredient and could be saved "in examine" or it may advise that there is a psychological ingredient at play in society that publicizes women human beings are "weaker" and desire risk-free practices. i'm prepared to wager, you're able to hearken to the two factors of the argument with a number of caveats to accompany those arguments. we've a close-by newspaper (The Westword) that those days printed an editorial a pair of guy suing nightclubs over the well known women' night that often occurs on Wednesdays. His declare became that ladies human beings get unfastened beverages from men because it somewhat is, so why is there discrimination against men on Wednesday nights allwoing women human beings to drink unfastened and not pay a conceal fee. (The bonehead is yet to win a case...) there is somewhat different aspects to analyze: payscales, gender-particular careers, maternity vs paternity depart, etc. i think of we are residing in a greater equivalent society than human beings are prepared to admit, yet on a case via case diagnosis, i think of you will see the two genders dealt with unfairly.

Stopping abruptly like that can cause (amongst other things) seizures. Like everyone else is saying...you want to wean off of this medication, not go cold turkey. You didn't mention what dose you were on, but logically the higher the dose, the more important you taper off gradually.

Well,I have been on it for almost a year for sleep problems, but I only take it as needed.
If you took it 2x a day for 4 months, then decided to just stop, you could have withdrawal symptoms, which include muscle spasms, dry mouth & agitation.
Any narcotic should be withdrawn gradually.
I hate to be rude, but your spelling is atrocious! Are you sure you are not on other drugs or alcohol?

Alprazolam (or Xanax) can cause physical addiction. If you stop it abruptly you could have physical withdrawl symptoms. You should discuss it with your doctor and gradually decrease your dose until you're off of it.

its just a nerve pill and if you stop on your own it wont hurt you but you may become more to the point to where everything you get around and do or ppl you deal with will get on your very last nerve the doctor put you on that for a reason and maybe because you have a hectic life or something and not being able to sleep i would consult my doctor first before i decided to doctor myself....

Any time you stop cold when taking benzodiazepines it can be dangerous and you can go into withdrawal's.. Do not just go off of it cold. Have your dr wean you off slowly if you really feel they are not helping you.
