You need to find the proper drivers for your dvd/cd burner. Right click on your "My Computer" icon (not the shortcut) and click properties. Go to the Hardware tab and click Device Manager. This will show you all of your devices on your computer (hard drives, graphics cards, cd/dvd drives, etc). If your cd/dvd drive is shown, right click and uninstall it. Then, right click on that sub-division and click "Scan for hardware changes". It will auto detect your drive again. If it has the drivers, it will re-install them for you, if not, you will need to find them again. Good luck!

Try this. Right click my Computer, click properties, hardware, device manager, cd-rom drives. If yours is showing, disable it and re-boot. Otherwise, just re-boot and cross your fingers. The best fix would be to un-install Windoze and download a good Linux distro.

Your exterior CD/DVD force isn't a floppy force. in basic terms plug on your exterior force and reboot, bypass into the bios and choose besides from that force. once you have formatted your hard disk drive, copied data in the time of and you reboot, bypass into the bios and choose besides from the hard disk drive. or you will get caught in an limitless loop of booting out of your CD.
