This is not an easy question to answer because the amounts vary tremendously from one school to another. If you were, say, in Arizona and did a MEd in the evening school it might cost only a few thousand $, but if you go to an elite school where they take 2 years to finish, and you have to pay room and board as well as tuition, then it could be $45,000 a year - or over $90,000 by the time you are finished. Many schools allow graduate students to be Teaching or Research Assistants and those kids get tuition discounts or even free tuition. One of my kids did this and also got a grant of $15,000 a year for living expenses. So, you have to look around. Another kid I know had big loans from college but taught in a city school and got a lot of her loans forgiven and also got a big tuition discount on her tuition for her MS at the state univ.
ps the guy who claims that Fordham costs $52,000 a year is either bogus or his daughter is ripping him off. Fordham doesnt cost anywhere near that much - check their website at Fordham.edu

In the U.S., they're not for sale ... you earn them! The cost of the tuition for the school you attend to earn the post-graduate degree will vary from school to school. Get on the Internet and do some research in the right place ... you're wasting your time here!
P.S.: I seriously doubt that $25,000 will get the job done at any school. My daughter is a student at Fordham University in New York, and the tuition there is around $52,000 a year ... your Master's will take a year of schooling when you're attending on a full time basis.

The university's website will give you the average price for a year or semester in the master's program. The important thing you need to remember is *how many years* will you be in the program. For example, in my program, many of us are there for 4 years. But... we can get through for free or almost free.
That's because we get Assistantships. They take up alot of time, but give us free tuition and a monthly stipend. So although a program may look expensive on paper, they may cover most of your tuition, while another "less expensive" school may cost much more because they don't have aid for grad studies.
