Huge loss in Ag biz in Calif. Who could be at fault?

Got a letter from one of my Sen. (I won't mention her name cuz I don't want her to get any fan fare.) the other day. She wanted us to all know that the Ag biz in CA is having HUGE losses by criminals stealing almonds, ranch equip etc. etc. Wonder who is doing all that crime? Think it could be the same one's who are doing all the OTHER crime (or most of it) in the State. (40% of Fed prisons are illegal immigrants from mostly Mexico). Don't those Mexican guys work as pickers. Think they are doing the look/see on what they can steal, yet again?
Point here is, this yahoo Sen. wants me to get all excited she is DOING something about the guys who are paying her ticket to have illegals here for their needs and well being, but she has one of the lowest ratings for the biz of keeping illegals out of our country/State. This is a perfect example of how our Senators and Congressman cheat us. We'll spend tax dollars to fix it for the CEO's and ranch owner but twit to you regular tax payers.

cantcu: I attempted your point of reference and got and indication that it was possibly virus infected. I won't be playing around with it at this point. Your numbers are quite different than the one's I have seen. I'll have to dig and see what I can come up with. I will say more specifically, the number is 39% which are Hispanic and the actual Mexican percentage on that group is around 60%. Admittedly, I am going on memory. I will see if I can come up with the exact numbers just for YOU!

I will say further, that I have done current research myself and can only come up with 12% myself. I may have misquoted, I've blabbered enought about this and may have mixed my 3's. I'll check this further.

I don't know where you get your info but the Urban Institute reports "4,081 illegal aliens sentenced in federal district courts, 11 percent of the total sentenced."

Forty and eleven percent are vastly different!
