I was communicating with a guy on myspace who lives in another state.
I live on the west coast in LA, he lives around the New York area and we have never met.
We both have a mutual friend here on the west coast, and we both know what one another look like, etc.
Anyway, our messages have been flirty. I tell him he’s sexy, he replies telling me I’m sexy too…etc etc.
In one message I was playing with him and wrote,
“Boy I think you are a bit ornery and would be trouble for a girl.’
He wrote back;
“” Nothing wrong with being ornery. Trouble is fun, right.
I may be coming to LA at the end of January. How is the weather there, because it’s getting cold here.””
I thought that he was throwing some hint and wanted to meet me. I mean, why else tell me he is coming to my city, certainly you can look up the weather anywhere.
Therefore, I said, "Let me know if you want a tour of the city.''
He wrote back, "Right on girl, I might take you up on that tour."
Well?

First let me say you still know nothing about him.
Of course he wants to meet you. Your flirting and compliments have fueled his ego. He thinks there's a girl that thinks of him as a "sexy man". He wants to be around that. The most dangerous thing you can do is give him your address. Tell him you'll meet him somewhere when he comes to town. Take the time to get to know him.
If you feel safe, take a chance. Just remember, he lives in NY. Don't be his little long distant sex bunny. Show him the town, kiss him goodbye, and be respected.

So meet him, make sure it's at a public place though because you never know what kind of person he is. OR...
Try double dating w/ your mutual friend & their significant other; that'll take some pressure off & make it more of a hangout siteseeing thing.
You never know, maybe he's coming for business & or to see your mutual friend.

Well, he is obviously interested...but you may want to take along a friend, and stick to public places till you check him out in person. No matter how much you two chat, he is still a stranger.
