One stalk is one piece. Celery comes in a bunch, rather like bananas. Take one off and you have a stalk!

Yes you can......go for the first one....however a full stalk is usually at least a foot long as opposed to those precut bunches that are only around 8 inches or so......12-14 inches is good.

a stalk is a stalk ,the plant comes in a lot of stalks bunched together ,you break one of to have a stalk

No, the picture you showed was a RIB. A stalk is the whole bunch you get in the plastic bag. ( didnt look at the last pic.--the 1st one is a rib)
