The Bible is complete.
The gospel of Mary has not been recognised as the inspired word of God.
Consider that God has overruled to ensure that His Word has been recognised and preserved as The Bible and this has been so for some 1900 years.
If the message of salvation is of supreme importance could it be any other way ?

Yes, and I'm very thankful too. Many people would have wanted to add things into it but they can't.
The books of the Old Testament were decided by Jerome. He said the books of the Hebrew Bible and not the Greek Septuagint should constitute the Old Testament.
The accepted books of the New Testament took a more long winded approach. A guy called Marcion, who was a Gnostic, proposed a canon about 140 AD. It included his version of the Gospel of Luke, called the Gospel of Marcion, and ten letters of St Paul. This was unpalatable to the Christians, but it showed the need for a formal canon.
About 180 AD Irenaeus of Lyon said the 4 Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John were the only divinely inspired Gospels. Thus, the Gospel of Mary was rejected at that time. He and others declared the letters of St Paul to have been divinely inspired at this time. His official list of books included some which have since been rejected, and excluded some that have since been added.
Around 300 AD Esebius gave a detailed list which is basically the New Testament as we know it with a few books e.g. Revelations and Hebrews, which were undecided.
Finally, in 367 AD St Athanasius of Alexandria declared the current books of the New Testament as Canon.
During the reformation Martin Luther tried to have some of the books, such as James, rejected, but only succeeded in having the books in question moved to the back of German Language Editions of the Bible.
So there you have it. Like it or not, that's the Bible.

From my point of you , I don`t know why the gospel of Mary Magdalene is outside the Formal New Testament .
And the Bible ( the New Testament ) is not complete . Some church representatives decided that the New Testament should be formed by only 4 books or gospels ( the book of John , Mathew , Luke and Mark ) , but beside these 4 books there are more books , which the Church consideres them Gnostic ( in ancient greek - " gnosis " meaning " knowledge " )
For example , the Gospel of Mary Magdalene , the Gospel of Judas and much more ...

No it is not complete.
Even the Scriptures mention about 60 some books that it calls lost. So, without all the Books how can it be complete?
I know the following may be a bit off track but it needed to be said to help show how the Bible is NOT COMPLETE.
"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ" (Ephesians 4:11-3)
Latter-day Saints believe the canon of scripture is open, flexible, and expanding."
The following is for the ones that say The Book of Mormon is False and not Scripture. And, I would CHALLENGE ANYBODY TO READ IT. It has been put up against the Bible so many times and it has been PROVEN to be another WITNESS to Christ.
Even the Scriptures state that by two or more witnesses not just one word. The Bible is only one WITNESS the Book of Mormon is another WITNESS.
2Chron-36:16 But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy.
Matt 10:41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.
So even through history ALL of Gods Prophets have been mocked , harrassed and dis-believed.

>>Why is the Gospel of Mary left out of the New Testament?<<
Because the Catholic Church decided it didn't belong.

There are at least 20 gospels, and more than 40 books of the "apocrypha" left out of the Bible....
It is by no means complete.
The "present" Bible was constructed by a bunch of Roman Catholic priests at "the council of Alexandria" where they decided which books were "acceptable" to be included, which were not acceptable, which were capable of being understood by the semi-literate priests, and uneducated masses, and which were not.
Some of the Gospels, like the gospel of St. Thomas, undermined the authority of the Roman Church, as well.
The rest were supposed to be destroyed. Many survived.
Check out the "gnostic" gospels, and the apocrypha. You may also wish to study the Torah and the Talmud, for some interesting "filler" of what was removed from the old testament.
Namaste, and Happy Holidays.

Let me tell you what I understand about the bible. It is complete and it is complete because G-d, who wrote it ensured its' completeness. Just as Holy Men of G-d wrote as they were divinely inspired to do, so too did Holy Men of G-d see to it that only that which G-d wanted in His word was to be there. For more information on this subject, I suggest that you start with Josh McDowell's "Evidences that Demand A Verdict".

There is no such thing as the gospel of Mary. She was a virgin who gave birth to Christ - not a prophet or an apostle. Some religions have added to it, like the Roman Catholics. They have added the 'Apocrypha', which is false. The Mormons have also written another so-called book claiming to be 'another testament of Jesus Christ'. That, too, is false - again, the Mormons wrote it - not God Himself. The same for the RC's 'Apocrypha' - written by man - not God. Revelation 22:18, 19 says - For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 - And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. No one has the right to add to or take away from the bible. To do so would alter the truth of God's word, making it a lie.

The Bible is a collection of works deemed suitable by the early Christian Church.
There was quite a lot of rivalry between various sects of the new religion and heads were banged together at the Nicaea by the Emperor Constantine probably because he was fed up of the squabbling. One of the results of this meeting was the Nicene Creed. Some books were thought of as heretical, Judas, etc though some appeared later in the Apocrypha.
Quarrelling within the Christian Church is not a modern phenomena.
