If George Bush went around killing people, people would consider him a Christian. The truth is he's a liar, and a deceiver. He belongs to the Bohemain Grove, Skull and Bones, Is a universalist, let 911 happen, started the war in Iraq ( supposed to be a war on terrorist even though they didn't have any weapons of massive destructions, made a law by May 2008 everyone has to have a national id card, 1 step away from the computer chip; he also never apologizes, claims all non-christians go to heaven, and yet people consider him a christain. Now that is amazing.

I think he may want to be, but he is pressured by politics to make comprimises from the left and the right.
"Blessed is the man who God forgives, whose iniquities are covered" .
I wonder if it is possible to hold an office such as President and be a Christian.
The bible makes it seem like it might not be, but that is hard to accept.
Ultimately I don't know.Because war is not a clear cut issue, it seems like there can be a case for just war. Then there is the perception of what is a necessary war which may lead Bush or anyone for that matter, especially when entrusted with the safety and future of millions to think that something is a threat when it is not a threat. But to err on either side is a possibility.
I know one thing, that figuring out what is just cause for a war is not always easy and the criticism against him has been very imbalanced, so much so that it has often undermined its own validity in my mind
He is man, he is our brother and he deserves our compassion as well as any other, it is not ok to hate him and love our enemies .

He is truly a Christian, but that doesn't mean anything.
It's sad that he heard God talk to him, since I'm an Atheist and that forces me to categorize him in a certain group.
Iraq will not bring positive results for a while. It will be the negative results that we would have been experiencing 20 years from now, what is prevented with this war.
Do not look for quick fixes, and sometimes, actually most of the time, a sacrifice is needed to gain something.
People should be objective, even though it's easier to look at everything in Black and White.

Definitely a Christian.
We Christians SEEK TO DO THE WILL OF GOD. But we freely admit that we are not perfect. We sitll make mistakes and sometimes even disobey God. But we are fighting to overcome our being JUDGEMENTAL attitude of others and our living just to satisfy ourselves.
One of the "great" Christians (St. Paul) said:
Phil 3:12-16
12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
15 All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. 16 Only let us live up to what we have already attained.
(from New International Version)
Can others say that these things are their goals in life?

I would say eventhough he claims to be a Christian...he is not a true Christian because the bible clearly states that war is wrong and we should not participate in it or support it. Maybe he has the right heart condition though. If he really wants to be a Christian, he can...but that would require chamge on his part.

Jesus claimed to be the Son of God. Up until His resurrection there was nothing positive happening. The religious leaders denounced Him as a fraud, the Romans mocked Him, the people demanded He be crucified and all of His disciples refused to admit they knew Him.
And your question about President Bush was what?

Well, a few months ago, some writer who had at one time been part of a Bushco organization aimed at coordinating Bushco with "Christian" support groups OUTED Bushco as laughing at and mocking Christian groups. They USE them at the polls, MANIPULATE them during campaigns and evil scheming for holy wars against Muslims, etc. But privately, they deride them as buffoons.
This MAY answer your question.

i dont know but im just here to answer the questions you answered for my question about how jesus was the son of god-since i cant email you or IM.
okay, i have an explanation to all of your questions and i think you should answer only when you know alot about the bible. instead of asking us why we dont think of your questions, you should ask yourself how you know there's no answer to your questions.. all your questions have an answer; i quess your not a christian and you dont study the bible so ure saying wut u think based on wut you've read. u didn't study it. there's a reason y god sent a human instead of an angel to be his son on earth and there's a pretty obvious reason y adam and eve cant be the sons and daughters of god although they dont have parents but jesus can be his son.
i pray for ppl like you because do u not realize wut is going to happen if u dont believe jesus is the son of god?
im sorry about doing this but i am real sensitive and i want all ppl to be saved because i care and i dont want to have someone think of questions that would make them not believe jesus is the son of god because they think the questions they have doesn't make sense and there cant be a possible answer when there really can. thanks =]
