im using a plextor converter to convert vhs tapes to digital video and am having some issues. the tapes look fine on tv but when i try to copy them they look glitchy on my computer. also sometimes the tracking is impossible to fix. ive tried 2 vcrs with same result. i have adobe premiere. is there any way i can fix the glitches and tracking in post production?

Is the video actually glitchy, or is it just a playback issue? Video might look very glitchy, but after its actually rendered it should look fine, if its just a playback issue. Otherwise, Im not sure what is wrong. Im using a canon gl2 and premiere pro 1.5 for av to digital conversion and it works fine, so I dont know if its just differences between the software and hardware or both. If youre actually capturing bad video, then theres no way to fix it, unless you recapture. Hope this helps!
