MS Excel or different spreadsheet. the ideal thanks to set up lists. you may make columns categorised Band call, Album, Tract #, music, 3 hundred and sixty 5 days... kind.. even if you care to take the time to enter. ok i'm answering outdoors the unique question. For lists massive or small i have stumbled on Excel to be the superb little sorter. upon getting all the communities entered, you may spotlight the record and then bypass as a lot as now/kind and tell it what to kind with the help of and in case you want it sorting up or down.

Word or Excel. Or if you don't have Microsoft Office or want to pay for it, get openoffice. It has the same programs as Word and Excel and will do the same things.

You can do it without Excel. Use Notepad to make a file with your list. Put it in the root drive, such as save as C:\mylist.txt
Then open the start menu, choose Run and for a command put:
sort < c:\mylist.txt > c:\sort.txt
Then open up c:\sort.txt with notepad again.
