The one you love the most is the one person that knows you best therefore causing then to know how to hurt you. That's why the one who loves you causes the most pain. Think about it this way if your best friend and you had a small fight and didn't talk for a day you'd be upset but you wouldn't be so upset you broke down but if the one person you love and you had a small fight and didn't talk for a day you'd be so sad and mad and there's just not enough words to describe it. Simply put, because we as flawed humans tend to let down our guard and let go of our insecurities a bit when we trust someone enough to love. I wish it was something that we can just get over but it's not. The physical and emotional connection we develop with a person, makes us who we truly are. Deviation in this devine plan,sets our personal comfort levels in disarray. It is unfortunate but we all do it. I'd like it if maybe you can be more specific about how you were hurt.

Because pain of the heart hurts more. It only proves that your love for that person is strong. Love causes this kind of pain and only love can heal it. So just keep loving

Because they are not in love with you! You are in love with them and they are not sharing your feelings. Someone who loves you would not treat you in a hurtful manner. So pick-up the pieces and move on. God will send you someone who shares your feelings better you find out now and move on. Stop wasting your time and energy. Life is to precious to be unhappy! Because they think you really dont mind or understand what they are doing. Love works in its mysterious ways and we just have to learn how to live on bearing that dreadful pain.

i think its because when you love someone you hold them in such high regards that you forget that they are human and make mistakes as well. and when they do make a mistake it hurts because you never seen it coming due to the fact that you think they could do no wrong.

bcuz every little thing they do no matter how minor it is, HURTS. and sometimes it's not even a big deal and we just make a fuss about nothing.

because they (he/she) is a total jack ***, all they ever care about is themselves, no thinking about what the other person feels, and they only hurt you because you let them, tell them how you feel and if the continue to do it, then send them like the green bay packers!!
