i had laser eye treatment 4 years ago, and its brilliant. I went to Optimax in Manchester, and although it was quite painful for a couple of days, it was worth it. I had a very low vision (-7.25) so the doctor said it would be quite a recovery process, but after having the first eye done, and suffered quite a lot of pain, six months later I had the other eye done, and was given some anaesthetic drops to aid recovery, and it worked. Definately worth having it done
best of luck

My husbands best friend had laser eye treatment about four years ago in the UK. Within 24 hours he was able to take the patch off and 24 hours he was able to not wear contact lenses or glasses for the first time in years.
Since then, he has not suffered any problems or side effects, and from his recommendation, I would have it done myself.

I know loads who have had it done, and they didnt have to wear glasses again,in fact my friend had it done 3 weeks ago and the next morning drove to my house without her glasses and hasnt needed them since.
No pain, nothing, completely over it in a few hours, its all changed from years ago,its really good now.

Not yet, but I'd like to get it next year. I know a couple people who got it done several years ago and it turned out great for them. I'm a little nervous, but I'm tired of glasses.

my dad had it done about 10 yrs ago and i didn't see the point
of . he still had to wear his glasses, but i didn't hear him or my mom talk about any side affects. my boss which is younger then my dad had it done also and she still had to wear her glasses for the thing as before reading. everybody is different ,and you should talk to the doctor and don't go by one doctor see a few doctors because now days most doctors are out for the money
not for health of the patient.
