i would say he was nearer to black than white , but how can those white people . every consider worshiping a black man goes agaist their grain , so they asked god to do one of his miricles and jesus was turned white so the church would be happy.to have a white man to worship, it just goes to show that the church do things and say thing to siut them for finacial gain. and by the way i am not black , i am white , and i have lived in a black comminity and seen how these poeple have been harsed for the colour of their skin , poeple should be treated as people not by the coluor of their skin

He COULD have been BLACK.
Mythological characters can be any color.
Does anyone doubt that god is Black?
God can be any color, like no color, but chose Black.
Black is the New Invisible.
Of course People here are convinced that Jews can't be Black!
"The Lost Tribes mean anything to y'all?", the scriptures mutter
Note: answers are flooding in to scream, No! NO! No!
Not Black!
Not Jesus!.
Heaven help us all! Protect us from such a possibility!
There was a time when people felt the same way
about the statement: Jesus was a JEW.
oops.
Jesus was olive-skinned?
(wait for it..)
Black--Olives! (ho-ho-ho)

first i would say he was not black but well i was not there. and yes i was in the middle east and most are brownish there are a few who were darker then some african americans i know. and i agree it does not matter. as for rather or not he is God. i beleive he is God. john 1:1-14. in the begining was the word and the word was God and the word was made flesh and dwelt among us. i believe in One God. the Bible says there is no other God and there will be no other God. and that God is the only one who can save us. and now Jesus can? unless he was God made flesh then he can. i use the kjv Bible. i Believe in a powerfull God who said his words will not be changed and i believe he has kept his words the same. God created the earth but he cant make sure the Bibles meaning stayed the same. and right now they have shown it to be 98 percent acurate with the oldest manuscripts that they have. the 2 percent comes from grammer now. how we use commas and semicolons and all now. it is shown that the Bible is 100 percent acurate as far as meaning. that is like me saying pick up that chair and put it in that corner and i am pointing to the corner. you would know were i am talking about. or that would be like me saying take that chair and put it over there. both say the same something different but mean the same thing. the Bible is not that off what it says but just using it as example.

My expensive Jeff, out of appreciate, i could in no way label contributors of alternative faiths "deluded". for my section, lots of the time people stick to the religion of their relatives and ancestors. in my opinion, i've got faith Jesus Christ is the son of God. Please undergo in suggestions, i replaced into born into an extremely Christian relatives. My ancestors from the two sides have been Christian. Case and factor? How tragic that's that folk can no longer worship the way they need and refrain from judgment of others with distinctive perception's. This situation has brought about misery previous comprehension by using fact the beginning up of recorded historic past. As continuously, I say, peace and love is the respond ((Jeff))

Listen man, the Jews took over Egypt for 100 years. At the same time they were hated for all that time until they were kicked out. Use your own head man, if your in a BLACK country (Africa) for that long your people will start to look different. At the same time the Jews were mixed people, they were considered Semitic (mixed Asiatics). Please give me a break if you live in a foreign land for that long you be the judge, your people will look different... The black people of Africa (Egypt) even said how barbaric they looked and they took over a land that wasn't theres. Trust me Jesus' blood had black and middle eastern blood in him. Also my people (Africans) have lived in the middle east for centuries. Did you know King Xerxes was African not Jewish. Look this king up, you be the judge !

... he was NOT black. Get OVER yourself.
He was NOT white.
We KNOW that.
This is not a question you are asking- you are trying to force your beliefs on others- whether it is true or not.
For your information- Southern Africa is quite far from the middle-east.
But if you are going to use that as an argument- there are WHITES in Africa as well.
For all we know, Jesus was a woman- he had long hair and a kind heart. If you are going to be a hypocritical racist, I most certainly can be a hypocritical sexist.

What color Jesus was is unimportant , it doesn`t make any difference !! ! It is the crimsom red color of His Blood that saves souls from hell ! There are different colors of skin , but only one color of blood and we are one in the same in the fact that everyone`s blood color is crimson red !! The more important issue is where will you spend eternity ? Your soul or spirit is colorless ! The soul is saved by accepting the Lord as your personal Savior and following His Teachings on how to live your life while here on earth no matter what the color of skin was !!

Jesus was Hebrew. Hebrew = JEWISH. His skin was probably definitely dark, but to say he was "black" is probably a distortion of historical accuracy. As to whether or not he was the son of God, no I do not believe that as I am not a Christian, and historical fact will back me up that Christianity is based on a distortion of history. Jesus was a great man, but the son of God? Sorry, but no.

BLACK?
Please, don't shout.
Black? No, his skin would have been an olive, Mediterranean, complexion; certainly not European or African.
I have seen pictures of Jesus, that were red, brown, yellow, black and white. So, what.
Revelation 1:12-15
12 Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands;
13 and in the middle of the lampstands I saw one like a son of man, clothed in a robe reaching to the feet, and girded across His chest with a golden sash.
14 His head and His hair were white like white wool, like snow; and His eyes were like a flame of fire.
15 His feet were like burnished bronze, when it has been made to glow in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of many waters.
