My boyfriend for christmas as a gift to me wants to take me to Victoria secrets instead of buying me the 199.00 promise ring I wanted. When we are intimate I do dress up, so its not like I don't . He knows I didn't want anything else. He knew what ring it was, my ring size all of that. But I'm getting a Victoria Secrets shopping spree. Am I being ungrateful?

yeah i ki8nda think that if he knew all about the promise ring and still decided to go with the victoria sercet thing, he just isn't ready to committ to such a big step yet. however you should tell him that you are grateful for the shopping spree, but he knew that you wanted the ring and ask him why he didn't give it to you.

Sweetheart, you are VERY ungrateful. Cupcakes, if you keep your honey satisfied then he will be with you for a very long time. Listen and do what he tell you, keep him happy in the sack and eventually he WILL buy you that ring that you always wanted. Besides, that "promise" ring is meanless because how many people you know cheat while having a "promise" ring??? Pumpkin, getting to buy you that ring is draggin him to buy you stuff which you will not get you nowhere with him and might alienate him further, so don't honey.

The shopping spree is nice and all, but I think he may have a problem comitting right now if he knew what you really wanted was a promise ring and he didnt give it to you. You may want to discuss it with him though he might have just been to stupid to get the hint about the ring.

I would becasue your bf is more into having sex with you than making a commitment. AND I bet if you cut him off he will get mad and leave. ANd he will wait for a day or two then come back so you can appoligize to him. Well if he was really in love with you he should have gave you a engagement ring not a promise ring, that way he had a license to ahve sex with you anytime.

Just take his gift and if he doesn't surprise you with the ring, buy it for yourself.
It is a little ungrateful, but I can understand why you're upset. But maybe he thought this would be fun so just go with it an enjoy yourself.
