It happened to me. We fell in love the summer before I left for my freshman year of collage. We lasted about a year long distance. Now 15 years from the last time we saw each other we are married to others, with children, and I accidentally find out we are living in the same state far from where we met. After seeing him a few times I know I still love him and wonder "what it." Its really hard. If you meet the love of your life my advice is don't take that for granted. If you are lucky you find love a few times in your life. But I know he is the one and I can't be with him. Sigh.

A momentary infatuation is probably more like it ..

just because u feel a strong connection with someone does not make them the love of your life ... or your soulmate ...

but it is possible to meet someone you really like at the wrong time.

don't do nostalgia either

Yeah it is but it may be the "wrong" time. But the sun could come out and he could be what you really looking for! So make sure you really give this a chance if you really feel this way. Even if this mean putting him or your life on hold. Just make sure you dont give him time to sneek away. And also make sure he understands how you feel. And express all of you disions that involve him with him.

I think who we meet and how much we love them is all about timing anyway....you'll find that if it wasn't for say you getting locked out of your home when it's raining you may not have met that cute new neighbour who let you in he's 'til your flat mate comes home....you wouldn't have had a coffee or a nice chat or found out he and you have a fir few things in common....just an example...but yeah you could meet someone hate them and then not see them for years...suddenly there they are in your hour of need and they never again leave your side....

I'd imagine it would. In my case, it would ALWAYS be the wrong time. I have a degree to earn and a future career to build, and I can't put either of those things on hold for love.

Most definitely.
I believe it has happened to me.
My ex-bf... We dated for 6 months and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him... And then he moved to Los Angeles, CA, USA, (8 hours away).

Since then, I have met someone and have been with him for over a year and love him to death.

I believe that everything happens for a reason and there is more than just one person meant for you to fall in love it.

Hey, it happened to me!
