A friend of mine wanted to be buried at sea. He did a lot of research and found out that you need to be at least 3 miles offshore and weight the body so that it will sink in a permanent and rapid manner. While on his death bed his family changed his mind about the at sea burial. I was glad as he wanted me to use my boat.
