okay well i have a dog that is a Beagle and is protective and barks when people come in the houe. My sister is bringing her little fragile toy dog and im afraid of what will happen and my dog isnt around other dogs, so im not sure how he would react. My dog isnt violent at all, he just barks a little. But im just curious as to what i could do to help of both of theses dogs. They're in the same situation basically.

they need to be introduced in a neutral territory first, like a park rarely visited or something, and your sister needs to bring something her dogs so he has SOME security.
They should be fine, most are, but some will get into dominance fights, no matter the size of the two dogs.

mostly a small dog will just bark to show that something is his. plus they think they r bigger than a 5 pound runt that u can pick up and they will still bark. also a small dogs bark is 10 times worse than the bite. if ur dog hasnt been around other dogs how do u kno how he will react??? sometimes its good for a dog to b with othr dogs and nothing will happen. if something does, make sure it wasnt the other dog that caused the problem b4 u scold ur dog. id say give him a chance first. and if ur really worried put ur dog into the bathroom (as a last resort id say)
