Wouldn't this question be more appropriate to ask your NCO (Supervisor)?
Use whatever phone number or civilian conversion if you only have access to DSN of your Unit. The purpose of giving a phone number is so the loan officer can call and confirm your income.

Normally the loan officer only needs this information to verify employment. He should list his immediate superiors number to verify he works there. His supervisor should also have a general idea of how much money the member makes. Good Luck.
