First, the number of souls ready to incarnate is vastly larger than Earth could handle. That's why there are millions of worlds throughout the cosmos for souls to enroll in.

Second, there are more souls in the Universe than there are grains of sand on all the beachs of this world. There are more souls than there are electrons & protons in all those grains of sand on all those beachs.

Third, the population continues to increase because contraception education isn't being funded.

Within a hundred years the population will have peaked and then CRASHED down to about a billion. Imagine so many dead bodies that major cities are abandoned due to the stench.

You have stated your question without the understanding that there are more than this planet to re-incarnate to. As planet earth evolves to a higher state of evolution, it can support more spirits. Therefore, as spirits reach the same state of evolution as planet Earth, they re-incarnate to here, rather than somewhere else. There are countless more spirits than the 6.5+ Billion people who are now incarnated on this planet. Some people who evolve fast than Earth, will reincarnate to better planets, more suited to their evolutionary state.

Because maybe we're not just reincarnates of people, but animals as well. So that takes care of a huge portion, but there are still some left. Maybe the rest are divided pieces of people. Ever noticed a guy that acts a whole lot like you? Maybe he shares the same past life?

Who knows, but I'm going to stick with the animal one for now.

Nix reincarnation !! The reason the world`s population is increasing is because people are living longer and life expectancy grows` each year !!

What kind of reincarnation? Reincarnation implies coming back as a different being once you pass on, depending on the type of reincarntion, you may come back as a rock, as a grasshopper, as a shoe, as a cloud, a piece of dust on a planet 50 billion light years away.

Very broad question that I wouldnt try giving any sort of definite answer to.

Some people choose to believe in re-incarnation in the hopes that they will not be judged on what they have done in this life.

Does believing in reincarnation imiply that the number of "spirits, souls, beings" is static?

Does reincarnation state that all beings must inhabit a single planet only, that more cannot congretate on a single planet in a given age?

It's a question that one could answer themself with a bit of thought.

The number of souls that can reincarnate at any given time, on any given world, are infinite, and unlimited for those of you who don't know what infinite means.

Reincarnation is a rather complicated belief system, with several variations, and I suppose it is easy to ridicule something you don't understand....many people are afraid of what they don't understand!

You're thinking linear time and finite "space". According to Buddhist concepts of rebirth: rebirth takes place from other worlds to ours and from ours to other worlds. For example, when this world is no longer able to support "human" life, as we perceive it, people will start taking rebirths in the various realms (as usual, i.e. heaven, hell realms, animal, pretas) and in other worlds, and they'll perceive their world as "increasing in population" too.

Hope this helps some!
