It is very sad, the top generals and politicians and diplomats thought iraq will take 2 months, and everything will be perfect, and we can leave and go back home. This is not the case.
If we leave iraq, the terrorists are going to take all the government offices. They will make military rule over shia and sunni neigbourhoods. Iran is licking it's lips at the thought of america to leave iraq. Iran's fanatsy or dream is to take iraq as it was supposed to , back then. This is also something one should take into account. If we pull out islamic rule will be implemented meaning shariah law. Saddam was secular, so iraqi's are better off under him, then under the terrorists rule. BUT if we stay in iraq, the soldiers are going to die, and car bombs will kill more iraqis. America if it wants, it can leave completley and forget about anything called iraq. But when we leave will it be worse?

Pulling the troops out is easier said then done. We have completely destroyed an entire nation, removed it's leader and dismantled both it's military and political system. I don't believe that Bush knew exactly what he was getting into when he decided to invade. Now that we are in, we have to finish the job, no matter how many troops die, death is the price of war. Our political leaders were aware of this and decided to invade anyway. If you think the middle east hates America now, if we pull out and leave their country in shambles, it's possible that we could lose the support of the view that actually want us there.

Yes, but not too soon. We still need to be there to ensure that Iraqis cna take care of themselves - and we should give them serious deadlines to do so - or otherwise Iran and Syria will step into the new Iraq without American presence and there would be NO point for the entire war if that happens.

I think we should try a more diplomatic approach. We should use the pull out of our troops as a barging tool. We need to stop this war or terror. We need to stop the killing on all sides.

No.
Pulling them out now would allow terrorists to claim victory. I'm sure it would be easier for them to plan more attacks on US soil if left alone in Iraq.

Not before we apologize. And, to all Iraqi and American mothers who lost their loved ones, we owe them what we can't afford to pay.
