Sould I be worried about my b/f of six months????
He is on myspace all the time, he's had his profile for a couple of years, and he just recently started another profile for his business.
So he has one personal profile, and one for his business.
Well on BOTH profiles he has his status set at 'SINGLE' and will not put any pics of us together on his personal profile.
I'm in his top 8, but that's about it.
I asked him why he did not want anyone to know about him having a g/f??
He really had no answer, except for 'everyone who knows me knows we are together.'

I HAVE talked to him about it, and that's when he said it was no big deal because everyone that knows him knows that I'm his g/f.
AND YES of course he knows how to change the status to 'in a relationship.'

OK...BAD! I had a "boyfriend" who did that to me..I eventually found out his passwords and found out that he was getting on and writing things to other women and just flirting around like he was single..apparently, he didn't really consider me his girlfriend when it came to other people...I HATE MySpace..geez, haha sorry..just ask him about it..i would say get his password like I did..buuutt, that's kind of conniving
By the way...it turns out he WAS cheating on me....I would say don't get flustered over it..but sometimes little things like that speak volumes.

I feel for you on that one. I once had a girlfriend who was like that. She wouldn't put pictures on her page of the two of us, but at least changed her status to "in a relationship." When significant others are truly significant, then it should show in all aspects. Even little things such as status and some pictures on myspace. I mean what... if you guys ended up married would he take off his wedding ring when he's in public? It isn't too much to ask him to up a pic or two, or at least change his status.

Hm, most people do not ''hook up'' on Myspace anyways, so I wouldn't be too concerned about it.
My husband & I both have Myspace pages, but of course, our status is ''married'' and we have pictures of each other.
I'm not sure if I would put my status as ''In a relationship'', if I was just dating someone. Boyfriend/girlfriend relationships can end in a blink of an eye.

I feel that unless he is a guy that you can meet everyday or at least a couple times a week, then its not a REAL relationship. Let not overplay internet relationships. I dont feel you can have a real , and solid relationship that you can depend on , in cyberspace. Going to the movies, going out to dinner, parties, or any social functions. You cant have those things on the internet. Holding hands, kissing ect....ect. Thats a REAL relationship.

I wouldn't stress on it.
But did you ever think that maybe he doesn't realize where to change the status? Offer to find him a new profile layout and update his profile. While your at it, just change his status to "In a Relationship."

Until he marries he will be SINGLE. Since you're not married to him you don't get to tell him what he has on his myspace page. If that's going to be a problem for you maybe you should end your relationship with him.
