You shouldnt, take her to Italy, your country, your question should have said

"How can I marry an illegal immigrant?
We have lived together for 4 years, have a child 17 months.
I am Italian and have a resident permit for my daughter and I for 5 years!"

I would think very carefully before marrying an illegal immigrant because even it is possible it could cause you many serious problems with the residency permit that you and your daughter have when they run out in 5years time. Think of the happiness of you and your daughter for goodness sake. Illegal immigrants are bad news and can only bring heartache.

Firstly, I want to apologise for some of the ignorant answers here, especially when you are trying to go through the correct measures to bring your partner to the UK legally.

Do you have permanent British residency? If so, you can to go to the British Embassy in your partner's home country and apply for a Fiance Visa, which if and when accepted, will grant you enough time for you and your partner to return to Britain and marry. After this, your partner can apply for a Marriage Visa.

But it certainly wouldn't hurt to obtain some professional legal advice.

Good luck : )

You can marry because of the human rights act. A couple where BOTH were illigal immigrants took this to court.

BUT the marriage will not make the other person legal.

As long as you're not considering sponging off our welfare state then the best of luck to you. We have serious problems with illegal immigrants and the last thing we need is any more.

You could marry in a country close near by maybe a country that you dont need to use a passport to get to then marry there.

Or you could go to get married but lie that she is a british citizen with no passport but make sure she has a good accent

You need to say where the illegal is from. Different laws apply to different countries

How about you and your woman going to Italy, getting married there, staying there and living happily ever after!

I don't know why these racist scumbags give you thumbs down, they look at an illegal immigrant as an animal and not a person. I really can't answer your question.
