I am 5.6 currently 150 lbs. My husband and i are going to try to concieve a baby around March. I would like to be a bit smaller by the time we start trying so that if i gain some weight during pregancy i won't end up looking like a cow. What is the best way to lose 2 to 4 lbs a week? My goal is 120 that would put me at a bmi of 19 which is still in the healthy range.

Have you tried a cleanse? I've been trying exercise only for about 4 months and I only dropped 7 lbs. But with cleaning and exercising I lost 22 lbs in a month. I tried a 9 day cleanse. I think 120 is to little weight for your height. Remeber bone and muscle weight more than fat.

But as far as losing a few pounds just excercise 3-4 times aweek and eat lots of lean protein(chicken and fish). no fast food, fried foods, soda , or too much artificial sugar.

eat good amounts of whole greains and wheat so that you are full longer and don't over eat.

oh and try taking prenatal pills so you get all those nutrients that the baby needs cause the very first thing that is formed is the brain and that will help it be its best!!

oh by the way i just saw a comment that says you'll gain like 30lbs during pregnancy and let me tell you that will happen if you eat horribly. Pregnant woman tend to use pregnancy as an excuse to eat everything and anything and then theyre depressed after ward cause its hard to loose it. why? becasue all that fat goes mostly to you not the baby.

when you are pregnant you should try hard to keep eating healthy and of course you'll eat a little more than normal cause your eating for about 1 1/2 people. but if you keep eating lean prootein and not eat fatty foods at the most you should only gain about 15-18 pounds and when you have the it should be down to only about 6-9 llbs.

so don't give into ALL those craving all the time!!!!

Purchase "Colon Cleanse".

Use it once a month.

It is a healthy way of cleaning out a person's

colon, and while doing so, with each colon

cleanse most people loose 7 - 10 lbs.

Stay away from caffeines, (of course smoking,

drinking alcohol), sugars. If we take in sugars

and caffeine our body naturally CRAVES

more and more carbs. And we all know we

must watch our carb intake. Keep your meat

intake to a minimal also. Fruits and especially

alot of veggies are the best. No greasy foods.

You can also walk alot. But cardio is not the

best closer to the time of your delivery.

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.

It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.

Lose weight in a week 2-4 lbs per week is possible.
But must keep in mind that it must be a healthy way to lose way to keep your health in tip top condition.

Since now you're able to exercise, why not play the whole day?

Morning: cycling, jogging (at least 30min)
1h after that then eat breakfast *** lunch (Vegetable and rice)

Afternoon: skipping (500)
Dinner(Fruits)

Night: Sit-up (200)

Cut down on snack before and after meal.
Drink lots of plain water and no other drinks.

Remember don't drink milk before exercise.1h after exercise than can eat. 2h before exercise better not to eat.
No drinking of water 2h before sleep to prevent body from storing them up.
I heard people say don't eat too much fat-soluble vitamin.

Try Pilates... It's awesome.. It's not a hard workout.. It's all about controlling your body, and it's worked for me.. I've had two kids, and it's got me back down to where I was b/f having kids... Also, try to only take in about 1200 calories a day!! Good luck to you! Merry Christmas

The most weight I ever lost was eating tuna or canned chicken with absolutely nothing on or in it. Straight protein! And you better ask your doctor since you are pregnant!
