The diarrhea will go away on its own. Just keep feeding normal cat food. However, you will have to make sure he drinks A LOT of water, because with the diarrhea, it is possible for him to become dehydrated. If it is not serious, it should be ok, make sure you have plenty of fresh water available. If you are feeding dry cat food, you can always soak some of the kibble in warm water before feeding. This will make sure your cat receives some water.

Also, there are replacement kitten milk that you can buy at petstores, if you really WANT to give him milk. That stuff is safe for cats, and has plenty of nutrients.

Giving cats and kittens regular milk is a BIG NO NO!! Call your vet and ask him what you can give him to stop the diarrhea. In the meantime, make sure he gets lots of water so he doesn't get dehydrated.

I have given rescues milk, about 2 times a week, about 1/4 cup in a saucer. This will give them the runs if done too often. You can also use a can of tuna if all else fails. Its not the best but its a fish product and its better than a nugget.:) LOL..

Scientificly
They have found out that cats actually are not very interested in milk! Even thought they do not getting baths in water, they enjoy drinking that, better than milk.

Also:
If it is a baby kitten, then you didn't do something smart! He has to get the milk from his mother until he can open his eyes, and walk.

Don't give the cat anymore milk, and it will go away. If you go to Pet Smart / Petco.. whatever, they have milk for cats that is safe to drink, and it's cheap. I have three cats (two adults, & 1 kitten) and they all love it.

that's a normal response and if you just watch the cat you most likely wont' need to check with the vet. give her commercial food of good quality and nothing else but water.

check the label on your cat food and don't buy the ones which list ground yellow corn as the primary ingredient...

Dry cat food and water until it clears up. He'll be fine.

They make cat milk (not formula, this is for adult cats) you can find it in the treat aisle of pet stores.
