Happy yule...

This forum is basicly a huge religious debate, to clear up misunderstanding, and to point out the flaws that people try to cover up.

So in other words, you hit the nail on the head

This forum (though it's not really a forum per se) is about a lot of things...

The exchange of opinion, ideas, and information
The dispelling of misinformation on science, and conversely the viral spread of it as well
The study of the details of worship, holy books, and relgious tenets
Evagelism
Debate
etc.

Excepting outright insults, all are legitimate uses of the Q&A here, and all have value and add to the experience in my opinion. Even the instances of bad behavior can carry the value of learning.

There is no proof. There is only evidence.

in all actuality this forum was set up as a place for different people to get to know eachother in terms of different points of views in religious beliefs and ways of life and to teach eachother and learn from one another just like what the internet is for and what the chatrooms were intended for unfortunately just like everything else people have turned a positive into a negative instead of being respectful towards one another people have been disrepectful towards one another and insutling and hurtful towards one another and have abused certain privileges now not everyone has done this it's just that everybody has a different agenda then others

It's become a "holy war". It's pretty pointless though, its not possible to prove one religion is more correct than another. Most questions and answers are cheap shots at people of other religions.

Some people come to e-preach (They'll ask, "Are you going to hell" and then will quote 20 verses from the Qur'an dealing with "going to hell")

It wasn't designed as a forum but the religion and spirituality section seems to have turned into one.

Answer: No. It's a place to discuss, debate and often rant/rave.
