Does Jesus care about the Turkeys? Did he eat them or just fish? I do'nt think there were Turkeys in ancient Palestine but other birds.
Is God cruel, was the son of God cruel too? Why did Yahwe demand so many people to die whenever he shows up? Was Yahwe an alien astronaut? Why did he always arrive with smoke, flames and noise? Why could nobody see him except Moses who scortched his face by looking at him? Why did he order the murder of 600 rabbis for worshipping a little golden calf sculpture...and the annilatioion of the men of neighbouring countries and the women and kids taken into slavery? sounds more like Adolf Hitler than the God of the Jews, Christians and Moslems.

I care for the way that they taste, especially with stuffing, and I also care for the nice hot turkey sandwichs you can make the day after.

Life is unimportant in the scheme of things.

Old Testiment: Man is born of the original sin of Adam and Eve (eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge). Sacrifice was meant to show God that we made a mistake and that we obey his commands.

New Testiment: Jesus came to say we are saved by Grace and not by sacrifice and burn offerings. That belief in God and his offering of his son is enough. The old is replaced by the new.

Mark 12:33. And to love him (Jesus) with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

Matthew 6:25: Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Eat whatever, drink whatever, wear what ever clothes without concern but believe in Jesus and you will be saved.

and Yes, Yahwe is an astronaut.

NO, not at all .. You see, God put Turkey's on earth for us to eat. God knew that the people would have to eat. Pretty smart, he was.

I love animals too !! They taste GREAT !

P.S. I wish all the PETA people would stop abusing the Turkey's by eating all the vegetables out of the garden. Don't you think it would be the humane thing to do to leave the vegetables in the garden for the Turkeys to eat? Then the Turkeys could get bigger and plumper and YUMMMYer.

They didn't sacrifice. They were murdered. I guess we could have murdered a bunch of vegetables instead. Or we could just starve to death. Pick up your bible. There all your questions about God will be answered. Only a gracious and loving God would make it possible for us to spend eternity with him through the sacrifice of his Son, Jesus.

I just wish we could GET a turkey here! We are in Africa and they are $18 a kg.

PS - comparing God to Adolf Hitler is a little over the top, don't you think?

Turkeys are natives to the Americas, so Jesus probably didn't eat them

In Shamanism who believe in the animal spirits to help them, the turkey represnts the spirit of sacrifice. The turkey sacrifices itself for us in this way.

Answer: I don't believe that turkeys were mentioned, specifically, in the bible. So, they're sort of like dinosaurs in that we're free to snack on them. Also, the turkeys didn't "sacrifice their lives for us"...we TOOK them!

The REST of your "question" and it's deterioration....

I never eat Turkey at Christmas because I do not want to contribute to the mass slaughter of Turkeys for just one day
