Would prefer more details . . . what is their age, first time marriage, first home together . . . ? Not knowing that, I say a book of that expresses in a positive way something that would enrich their relationship and marriage. Book ideas . . . book noting Bed and Breakfast inn in their area, Cookbook for lovers, there is a book out there that notes Lighthouses along the West Coast that you can stay overnight at . . . Go the the self help, cooking, or travel section and browse around and get creative. But, no ill hearted relationship joke or heavy minded relationship books...just book(s) that will encourage positive growth in their marriage. Maybe wrap the book with some fun item along with it...i.e. Cookbook for lovers...along with a cooking pot or gourmet utensils...Lighthouse book along with ocean art, book ends . . . get creative...you'll do well.

You should ask your uncle before you arrive there, exactly what she likes.
If there are some places out there that she likes to go, whether a mall, a spa treatment, her favorite department store, you should she what he would say. Then, either you can get it where you are at or go to California and get it out there.
Better yet, give her a Visa Giftcard. That way, she can use that to her liking to whatever she wants to get herself. I think $50-$100 of the Visa Giftcard would be nice. They except those everywhere.
Maybe you could do that. Enjoy California and enjoy the wedding! Be careful out there! Have a safe trip!

A photo Album so they can document their new lives together with photos, bring lots of disposable camera so their guests can take picutures of their wedding and then they can develop them and keep which ones they want.
