totally bare is pre-pubescent, and I don't know why anyone would like that. I have the landing strip, and keep it clean......

Golly, I don't think beavers shave very much in the winter. They need their winter coat to stay warm.
Oh, wait a minute. Actually, I don't think beavers shave at all. They just shed unwanted fur.
