When you plug in your MP3 player you should get some options from Windows, one of the options is "Sync device using Windows Media Player". Pick that option and it will open Windows Media Player with the playlist window on the right except the window will say "Drag and drop files to sync".
Drag the downloaded songs from your download folder onto this window, and click "Sync now" to add them to the MP3 player.
If you don't get these options when you plug your MP3 player in, you should be able to go to "My Computer" and see your MP3 player as a drive. Double-click it and open it up, there will be a folder for the music files, drag and drop MP3s into this folder and they'll be on your player.
