life for me has been harsh, specially when I start feeling good about life, there is always some one out there who would like me to be under thier thumb, the only thing that I like about life is to roam freely, and continue my journey of life boundless and travel the world as if there was no borders. I feel that my spirit belongs to a Queztal, is a bird that if it captured and put in a cage, that bird will die.

In my opion, I'm often insulted when I hear this statement especially if it's about me. Usually beause the person advising me is clueless and has a ton of their own problems they can not solve.

May your journeys always be bountiful, and my you never be alone, but remeber this indpendence is not with out lose

Remember most believers are still freaked out by the "Eating From The Tree of Knowledge" thing. They get very uncomfortable when other people know to much and ask too many questions.

So, basically, "you are too smart for your own good" means "I'm dumb and I like everybody around me to be dumber."

The expression usually refers to someone who thinks they know more than they actually do - someone who is arrogant. It can also mean that the person asking the question does not understand you and is the one that does not understand you at all, or what you are thinking, and that they think they know better than you, even if they don't. Fly on, Queztal.
