i wouldn't think so. i always have gum or mints with me, i have a thing about bad breath issues, i wouldn't ever want to be grossing someone out.

This is something that is done in the privacy of the restroom or at home. Always carry some gum or breath mints for such an occassion so you don't end up causing a social faux pas.

Its not bad manners but you may want to be more casual when you do it. I always try to keep mints with me just in case.

Well, doing it very public, sometimes people don't like that. Do it casually and slowly as if you're wiping your face or something or just scratching your face or somethin'.
