He IM's, pretending to be a random chat; he sends secret text messages; he has a buddy friend spy on me to find out details about me. He's 29!!! Should I stay clear of such immaturity?

Probably because at 29 he doesnt seem to be appropriately developed in the confidence/maturity area. He will be really high maintenance if youd get with him.. youd be constantly reassuring him, etc.

yes very far away im sorry it sounds like you have a stalker if he gets any worse i suggest calling the police, bad things could happen if you let it stay like this or he will go on to someone else and decide to push it a little farther. I would day if he was a teen then whatever but he s alomst 30 that it a adult he needs to learn what is right and wrong

Obviously, you do not enjoy this sort of attention. If you not interested in him, I would suggest you let him know. If you are interested, let him know what it will take for you to feel that you could be more comfortable with him (i.e. stop spying, etc).
