How do you make for procrastaning and not getting your girl a Christmas gift, on time. Although the gift will be received a day late, how do you make it for it?

Best thing to do is explain and say if there was anything you could do to get the gift today, you would do it without hesitation.
Maybe you could make a handmade card in the meantime to show that it wasn't a case of lack of effort just bad luck.
If the worse happens and she gets mad, then I'm she will calm down. If she really likes you then she will be understanding.

If my husband did that, and explained I would be ok and understand. HOWEVER, a nice romantic dinner would be a great way to say I am sorry for being a "jerk" and waiting until the last minute. Cater to her for x-mas and maybe Breakfast in bed too

well tell her that nothing you found the other days was quite right for her you had to find the best gift to give her casue she is tht special and then i suggest taking her out to eat and not a fast food place ask her where she wants to go
