I am 12 years old,and I have been having dreams about my ex.Like last night,I had a dream that he asked me out again,but I dont know what I said.And I l already have a boyfriend,so that makes it even more weird.Shouldn,t I be having dreams about my boyfriend,rather than my ex?

im sorry that u dont want to hear about how u are too young, but..sweetie..u are..dreams are dreams..it doesnt have to be anything special..but u shouldnt worry about it, since thats not gonna be the only ex boyfriend you'll have..there will be many along the way

Okay, hun, you're really looking into this way to much. It's natural to have dreams about your ex, I mean they were probably a big part of your life for a little bit. Just because you broke up with them, doesn't mean you instantly stop thinking about them, or that your subconscious just forgets about them. It just doesn't work like that. Dreams don't mean anything, they're just your subconscious way of ordering your thoughts while you're sleeping, the end result being that they usually don't make too much sense. I suggest to try not thinking about it, don't go judging your relationships based on your dreams.

Dreams are just dreams, it's not like you can do anything to control them.
As long as your ex isn't asking you out in real life then it's nothing to worry about really.

Dreams are signals from your brain and is mostly triggered by memory, so if your dreaming of your x it's because you have more memory of him. That would change in time, but don't be surprise if your x pops up now and then.
